10 Quick and Easy Breakfast Ideas

Mornings can be a busy and chaotic time. Whether you're running late for the school run or your early morning meeting. Do you sometimes feel too rushed to have breakfast? Are you often left wondering what should I eat when I'm in a hurry

As the old saying goes, breakfast is the most important meal of the day and shouldn't be missed. Breakfast replenishes your supply of glucose to boost your energy levels and alertness. It can also provide other essential nutrients required for good health.

We want to share with you some of the best quick breakfast ideas. They are all healthy options and packed full of fibre to keep the hunger pangs at bay until lunchtime.

Spoonful of Fibre on Toast

Oat and Banana Pancakes

You can still have a little treat for breakfast when you're in a hurry. Oat Banana Pancakes can be whipped up in no time and can be enjoyed at home to set you up for the day ahead. To save time, blend up the dry pancake ingredients the night before, 1/2 cup of TROO Porridge+ oats and 1/2 tsp baking powder.

In the morning, simply mix in 2 bananas and 2 eggs and cook the pancakes for a few minutes on each side. To serve, we recommend a drizzle of TROO Spoonful of Fibre Inulin syrup and fresh fruit.

Overnight Oats

The best quick breakfast and one of our favourites, Overnight Oats. You can prepare your oats the night before for a super creamy bowl of porridge in the morning, no need to worry about what you're having during the morning rush.

We recommend using 50g of TROO Porridge+ with plant-based milk and yogurt to cover the oats. Leave in the fridge overnight and in the morning, add some fresh fruit and a drizzle of TROO Spoonful of Fibre Inulin syrup for extra sweetness and fibre.

Granola Breakfast

Make a delicious layered Granola Parfait with your favourite flavour of TROO Granola+, yogurt and fruit. This can be made quickly in the morning or prepared the night before and left in the fridge. 3 Ingredient Baked Oats

Jump on the Viral TikTok trend with this super simple Baked Oats recipe that only requires 3 ingredients which you probably already have at home.

Preheat the oven to 180c. Mix all the ingredients together until combined. Then pour into a small dish and bake for 25-30 minutes, or until golden and cooked through. Add your toppings and tuck in!
