5 Delicious Ways to Use Troo Granola+

Troo Granola is jam-packed with natural goodness, containing over 9g of fibre (30% of your daily requirement) and only 3% sugar per bowl, as we use Chicory Root Fibre, also known as inulin, to naturally sweeten our granola and add extra fibre. Unlike other brands on the market, our Granola isn’t too sweet which allows the natural flavours of the roasty toasty oats, nuts and seeds to shine through.

All our Granola’s are gluten-free too, as we use beautiful gluten-free jumbo oats from Cambridge as a base, as well as being suitable for vegans and diabetics. Troo Granola is the perfect gut healthy start to the day; with a splash of milk, dollop of yoghurt or with your favourite fruit. We want to share with you five new ways you can use our range of Granola, which includes:

Breakfast Parfait

A breakfast parfait is a great breakfast idea and way to use Troo Granola. You can use any yoghurt, fruit and granola of your choice to make the perfect parfait for you. Parfaits are super quick and easy to make, perfect for those busier mornings as you can make them ahead of time and store in the fridge for up to five days, just grab and go!

Our favourite parfait combo includes coconut yoghurt, loads of berries and Troo Boost Granola+, which is full of Super Berries and Vitamin C which is perfect to build your resilience.


Chocolate Chip Cookies

Our range of Troo Granola is also great to use in baking, by adding extra fibre and a delicious, nutty crunch. Granola makes the perfect addition to any cookie recipe, making them a more filling breakfast snack.

If you’re making chocolate cookies, why not place some Troo Granola Chocolate with Orange into the dough before you pop them into the oven for some extra chocolate goodness! Shop-bought Granola or breakfast bars can be secretly high in added sugar and not as good for you as you may think. Why not try making them yourself? Using Troo Granola, you can ensure that your Granola bars are naturally low in sugar, packed full of fibre and gut healthy goodness, perfect for breakfast on the go or an afternoon, guilt-free snack!

Energy Balls

Looking for some tasty snack inspo? Try this no-bake recipe, made using three main ingredients and toppings of your choice. For our Energy Balls Recipe, we opted for Uplift Granola+ to add some warming cinnamon, and Troo Spoonful of Fibre Inulin Syrup. However this recipe can be made using any of our Troo Granola range to add your favourite flavour!

By using both Troo Granola and Troo Inulin Syrup, the Energy Balls are high in fibre and low in sugar, perfect for those of us who are trying to increase their daily fibre intake to the recommended 30g per day, or reduce their sugar intake as our Inulin Syrup adds natural, decliate sweetness to this snack.


Apricot and Strawberry Crumble

Who doesn’t love a crumble for dessert? Troo Granola is the perfect addition to your crumble recipe as it adds a nutty, crunchy texture. We recommend using Troo Uplift Granola+ in your crumble toppings, as it’s our nuttiest granola and will add an extra hint of cinnamon.

We teamed up with our friends at Sead Foods to create a super yummy Apricot and Strawberry Crumble Recipe, which we love to enjoy with a dollop of coconut yoghurt. This vegan and gluten-free crumble serves 3-4 people, is a great source of fibre and perfect for a post-dinner treat, or can even be enjoyed on those colder mornings!
